Final Price Drop: The Day Rock Was Born - Kiyoshiro Imawano, Fujio Yamaguchi, and Others

The video version of The Day Rock Was Born. Features performances by SMI, the predecessor to HIS!
This is the video version of the event The Day Rock Was Born, held in 1990, featuring artists affiliated with Toshiba EMI.
At the time of release, this VHS version was the main distribution format, although an LD version was also released simultaneously.
(*Currently, this is rare footage that is difficult to obtain as it has not been released on DVD.)
For some reason, most of the groups are recorded in monochrome, but
only Kiyoshiro Imawano's SMI, the predecessor to the later HIS (→ see: Nihon no Hito), is recorded in color.
(*Incidentally, a TV special was also broadcast immediately after the event, but it featured different footage and a different structure than this video product.)

*We have borrowed the detailed description.
