75.00 $
Description
Beautiful 3-piece antique Japanese Kutani porcelain serving set featuring the classic Geisha Girl motif. This set includes one larger master bowl and two smaller individual nesting/berry bowls, all featuring an elegant, multi-lobed scalloped rim. The interior showcases hand-painted scenes of geishas in a traditional garden, surrounded by vibrant flora, fine gold gilt detailing, and striking cobalt blue borders. The base of the master bowl bears the authentic hand-painted red iron-oxide 九谷 (Kutani) signature mark, dating this set to the late Meiji / Taisho export era (circa 1900s–1930s).
