The music box will play but is finicky. Otherwise the silver plated brush is in great condition for its age. The exquisite, Reuge music box has been unsurpassed since 1880. This unique, silver musical box is made of the highest quality and doubles as a hair brush. There's a manual winder at the bottom of the bristles and on-off / pull-push pin. The winder reads Reuge Ste-Croix on one side and Swiss Made on the other. The silver metal is marked West Germany. Unknown song. The brush measures 7 long x 2-1/2 wide and is in lovely vintage condition with a few broken bristles, scuffs, scratches, debris and an aged patina.
