Antique Quadruple Silver Plate Coffee Pot And Creamer C.1890-1910 Edwardian
Caren Forbes
This elegant antique coffee pot and creamer was made by Forbes Silver Co., a division of Meriden Britannia and later part of International Silver. The underside bears the early eagle-head hallmark with QUADRUPLE and pattern 618, dating the piece to the Victorian–Edwardian period (circa 1890–1910). The pot features a tall, refined silhouette with a dramatic swan-neck spout, fluted melon-form body, ornate handle, and beaded base and lid rim. Recently polished, the silverplate retains a beautiful reflective sheen. A wonderful display piece for traditional décor, teatime styling, photo props, or collectors of high-quality American silverplate.
