While its maneuverability may not be as good as the Reactor or Jackson's Nirvana, it has strong straight-line stability, making it excellent for handling large waves and drops after descents in creeks. It also accelerates easily, which is a significant advantage for creek beginners.

The Scorch has a very well-balanced combination of rocker, volume, edges, and hull, making it more stable overall than the ultra-responsive ReactR. In other words:
・ReactR → Fast to move, can be tricky to handle due to its sharp turns.
・Scorch → Absorbs impact and offers stability, forgiving minor mistakes.
→ A boat that allows even intermediate or beginner paddlers to achieve good results.
