Vintage “Souvenir d’Afrique” Butterfly Wing Art – Asterix & Obelix African Scene
N/A
90.00 $
Description
The Vintage Souvenir d'Afrique Butterfly Wing Art featuring Asterix & Obelix with an African village scene is a unique and hand-crafted piece of mixed media art. This original artwork showcases butterfly wings intricately embedded in glass, creating a stunning visual contrast against the humorous Asterix & Obelix characters in the background. The framed piece captures both the beauty of nature and the charm of classic comic strip characters, making it a one-of-a-kind addition to any art collection. Vintage condition with visible cracking, light discoloration, and tape repair on the back (see photos). The artwork remains largely intact, and the vibrant butterfly-wing colors still show through beautifully. Frame shows wear consistent with age. A striking display or collector’s restoration project.
