JOSE LUIS FLORES JLF Taxco Mexico Eagle 3 Sterling Silver Cufflinks - Initial L

Crafted by Jose Luis Flores, Taxco, Mexico, may I offer this pair of Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) cufflinks cuff links. The fronts of the pieces display the initial L against an antiqued (blackened) background. Fronts measure 3/4 square. Combined weight of the pair is 12 grams. Flip mechanisms work as they should. Very nice condition with maybe a touch more polishing to take off some of the tarnish still remaining on the pieces and maybe a light wash to take off the paper tag remnant of the last price they sold for.  Jose Luis Flores worked for Hector Aguilar at Taller Borda for many years. An accomplished silversmith and designer in his own right, once he left Aguilar's employment, he struck out on his own selling his own creations. His work is very much collected!
