Vintage art deco Smoky Quartz cabochon gold plated oversized cocktail Ring Stunning Smoky Quartz oversized cocktail ring from the late art deco period in to the retro period of 1940 to 1950. Lovely long cabochon in a clear brownish grey quartz stone tension set in gold plated metal. Elongating ring with a twisted rope like design arching on each side with decorative end caps with an open work cut out holding the long stone in place. Chic ring that is flattering to the hand and elongating to the finger. Excellent condition Some solder marks on the inside Size 6 1/2 Both stone and metal tested Stamped nic.cop Which I believe cop is a gold plating I think the gold plating is on top of sterling silver but I can not test for the metal underneath.
