Features ornate filigree work, beaded borders, and floral motifs typical of Anglo-Indian/Bohemian-style handcrafted metalwork. Stamped “Made in India.” Base metal is likely brass, copper, or white metal with heavy silver plating (exact composition unknown). Decorative raised detailing appears to be created using repoussé and filigree techniques. Lids are set with polished semi-precious stone cabochons including carnelian, moss agate/green jasper, banded agate or chalcedony, tiger’s eye or iron jasper, and hematite or black onyx.
