Dimensions: Mid-sized dresser chest measuring 8 x 6 x 4.5 Exterior: Excellent vintage condition. High-gloss purple marbled Hanji lacquer finish is almost completely free of chips, scratches, or cracks. Mother-of-pearl (abalone) bird inlay is 100% intact. Features a rare purple marbled lacquer finish created with traditional dyed mulberry paper (Hanji) textures underneath the high-gloss coat. There are a few very tiny flaws. See the last photos for details. There is also a tiny surface scratch that I could not capture in a photo. Interior: Features automatic mechanical cantilever rising shelves, a built-in mirror, and a musical movement. Note: The bottom red velvet liner has some staining/spots but lifts out completely, making it incredibly easy to recover if desired. The top has just a few spots. Mechanism is exposed and clean.
