Vintage MCM Large Faux Leather Bound Velvet Lined Jewelry Box

Stunning leatherette bound jewelry box with expanding shelf and satin backing  Vintage, this does not have a label, but based on the style and make, I’d say this is late 50s early 60s  I believe the based is probably a thin wood that has been bound. The bounding material feels and looks like faux leather, but it’s def not the traditional kind of faux leather that you would imagine. Some would consider it to be leatherette. It is easy to clean though.   This box features so gorgeous details, from the silver filigree on top, to the adorable art deco hinges on the back.  Some normal wear for its age. One long thin scratch on the left side, and there a couple of lipstick stains inside, see photos.
