Sunsational Malibu Skipper doll, released by Mattel in 1981.

This is a Sunsational Malibu Skipper doll, released by Mattel in 1981. The doll has the product number 1069. It is part of the Malibu line, known for its California look. The doll is New Old Stock (NOS) or Never Removed From Box (NRFB), meaning it is still sealed in its original packaging. The packaging indicates it includes a beach towel and is poseable. The box has multiple condition issues starting with bent corners on the top, and has peeling paper also on the top corners some of the pink coloring all over the box is worn off and shows white spots the top part of the box looks as though it was dented in on the top. There is residue from old sticker pricing on the top of the box. On the back there’s a Scantron type label where the paper is ripped on the tab up top. Box has never been opened however there is no tape on the top. Or there is no tape on the bottom. Selling AS IS AS SHOWN in photos. It was stored for a long time which led to having all the denting and the paper peeling on the box. Selling from smoke free home. Thank you for looking. 7/8/26
