Description
This enchanting and incredibly lifelike 1940's frog brooch attributed to Joseph Mazer is crafted in sterling silver and set with a large art glass cabochon center. This version of the frog has rhinestones set in his legs and head. Most of the rhinestones were missing or dead so I have replaced them and returned him to his glory days! He has high dome ruby glass eyes which appear to glow. The frog is shown in Brunialti's A Tribute to America on page 136. His condition is excellent. A true American costume jewelry treasure. He measures 2 3/8 by 2 1/4”.
