Leica M9 Black Paint, ID16 with countermeasures, includes original box

This is a used Leica M9 Black Paint.

The M9 is equipped with a Kodak KAF-18500 CCD sensor developed by Kodak specifically for the M9, which we believe is a deciding factor for many purchasers of the M9.

The CCD has been replaced with the countermeasure version (CCD ID16), which is proof of replacement by Leica, in 2018.

[Exterior]
Overall, there is little sign of use, and the condition is beautiful. There are minor scratches and light scuffs from normal use. The gold brass base metal is exposed in some areas due to paint peeling on the edges of the top cover and base plate, which gives it a nice vintage feel.
A protective film is applied to the rear LCD screen.

The viewfinder is clear, with no fogging or mold.
The sensor is also clean and problem-free.

The shutter count is 20,036, which is low considering the age of the camera since its release.

Photographs taken with this camera are included in the listing images.

[Operation]
Test shots have been taken with a lens attached, and the camera is in working order. However, when pressing the directional pad on the back, it sometimes skips one press and registers as two presses.
The scroll wheel button (used for turning left and right) located in the same area functions normally, so it can be used as a substitute, and since the issue is not severe, the camera is usable for normal operation.
(Due to the directional pad issue, it may take several attempts to display the hidden menu for checking the ID number. It should appear within about 10 tries.)
