Antique 1800s Christmas Time Capsule Box Petroliana Wood Puzzle Toy Card Crayons

Up for offer here is an interesting late 19th to early 20th century cross-collectible time capsule. Housed in an antique, 1890's, Victorian era, quintessential Aesthetic Movement style Christmas Candles cardboard box from the Standard Oil Company are two antique 19th century crayon remnants, a 1920s Christmas Happy Holidays to from card, and a circa 1900 Milton Bradley wood tanagram learning toy. This Time Capsule Box, spanning the late Victorian to the Depression era, spans collectors of Petroliana, antique Wood Puzzle Toys, Ephemera, Aesthetic Movement, Belsnickel, Early Santa Claus and more. Truly a one-of-a-kind find. The blue illustrated box label is superb, with panels and foliage, along with a German StyleOld St. Nicholas and a full Christmas tree lit with live candles. The wooden colored Parquetry Blocks #4352, by Milton Bradley, are occupational materials based on the Froebel system. Set comes with original instruction sheet, torn in half. The sheet is colored with crayon, presumably, with the yellow and green crayon remnants, with original paper labels, by Eagle Pencil Co. The 1920s Merry Christmas to/from tag card is made out in pencil to a Grace Marsh. Excellent Antique Time Capsule Paper Box Condition. Box measures approximately 3.5 x 5 x 1.25.
