Description
Up for sale is a set of two vintage porcelain half doll vanity whisk brooms. Each doll is bisque-style porcelain with hand-painted facial details and decorative ribbon accents at the waist where the broom handle meets the figure. Gently used with minor wear. The blue ribbon on one doll has slight discoloration. Bristles on both show light wear from age. No chips or cracks to the porcelain that I can see. This type of vanity set was a common boudoir accessory in the early to mid 20th century, used for brushing powder or lint from dressing tables. A good fit for a vanity display, a dressing room shelf, or a boudoir collectibles collection.
