Vintage Japanese Geisha Doll Figurine in Traditional Turquoise Silk Crepe Kimono This traditional turquoise silk dress features butterflies and flowers; the underlayers are red, cream, and gold. The Kimono is traditionally tied to the left. She has the traditional hairstyle and makeup of a Geisha. She appears to be missing her Wagasa (traditional Geisha Umbrella) or possibly a musical instrument, as her hands look posed to be holding something. The flowers and ribbons in her hair are paper, now fading, and she has a faux pearl necklace and earrings. She is standing on a black lacquered wooden base   Doll 12 inches tall Base 6 x 4 inches, ½ inch thick As shown in the photos, she shows several signs of age.
