Description
Charming vintage Limoges porcelain trinket box by Porcelaine Malbec, France. Made and decorated in Limoges, this scalloped-edge box is stamped on the base as a reproduction of an 18th century decor from the Musée du Louvre (Copie d'un décor du 18e siècle, Musée du Louvre). The lid and sides feature a hand-applied floral bouquet transfer — pink roses, blue and purple blossoms, and gold filigree detailing — with a coordinating gilt rim around the edge where the lid meets the base.
