Introducing the Olympus CAMEDIA E-100RS, a digital camera with image stabilization and high-magnification zoom.

Released in 2000, this classic digital camera with its seemingly low 1.51-megapixel resolution offers a distinctive image quality unique to CCD sensors from the dawn of digital cameras. Its unconventional design, resembling a standard Camedia series with a telephoto lens attached, evokes an era of experimentation in camera design.

With a continuous shooting speed of 15 frames per second and image stabilization, this model, specialized for telephoto photography, can still be enjoyed today. The low-pixel count offers an emotive and addictive image quality that can be a refreshing change from smartphone photography.

It also features automatic shooting, making it a recommended choice for a first classic digital camera.

Instead of a dedicated battery, it runs on 4 AA batteries (compatible with eneloop and similar rechargeable batteries). This allows for easy replacement of batteries on the go, making it convenient for frequent photographers and those who use their camera occasionally without the need for pre-charging.
