The upgrade from the Leica M9 to the M9-P was a service offered by Leica to enhance the camera's appearance and durability.
This upgrade includes:
- Removal of the top cover logo
- Replacement of the rear LCD with robust sapphire glass
- Application of M9-P style leatherette
Resulting in a more classic, robust, and functional style.

⚪︎ Condition and Functionality
- Confirmed working.
- CCD (ID: 15) sensor has been addressed.
- Shutter count: Approximately 26,000 actuations.
- There are minor dust particles on the eyepiece of the viewfinder, but they are clear and do not affect visibility when looking through it.

⚪︎ Exterior
- Minor scuffs, but no noticeable scratches; in good condition.
- The lens mount is clean with no excessive wear.
- The bottom cover still has its protective sticker. While there is some dirt around the edges of the sticker, the cover itself is in relatively clean condition.

The dirt visible on the bottom is on the protective sticker; the camera body itself is in beautiful condition.

There is a very slight dent on the bottom right of the baseplate.
