【Maintained】Nikkan Cornet No. 20

This is a vintage Nikkan (Nippon Gakki) cornet, model No. 20. This is a piece of Japan Vintage, crafted with the dedication of artisans before the technology was passed on to Yamaha.

■ History and Features
This model, from around the 1960s-70s, is characterized by a soft, nostalgic sound that modern instruments lack. It was a long-selling model that supported the early days of brass band music.

Condition (Serviced)

■ Pistons: Operate smoothly. The inlays on the piston buttons have been replaced with rosewood inlays. They were already replaced before I acquired the instrument.
■ Tuning Slides: All slides have been confirmed to move smoothly.
■ Consumables: Corks and felts have been replaced with new ones.
■ Exterior: There are a few minor scratches and small dents consistent with its age. Please check the images.

The instrument has been serviced, so it is ready to play as soon as you receive it.
