The cost of plating processes continues to rise.
While the increase in raw material prices is one factor, we believe it's not the only reason.
When musical instrument stores request plating, they almost always outsource it to plating companies.
At Nachtmusik BRASS FACTORY, we are planning to start processing services for our own products and have acquired specialized equipment.
Since it would be a waste to use this equipment only for our own products, we have decided to also offer plating services for items such as mouthpieces.
Therefore, we do not need to profit solely from the plating process itself, and we have set our prices to offer them at a low cost.

As our primary purpose is processing for our own products, we cannot apply as thick a coating as specialized plating companies.

However, conversely, for those who do not desire significant changes, we hope you will enjoy the plating process as a way to enhance the appearance of your instrument.

Nachtmusik BRASS FACTORY, referencing the scientific experiment conducted by the renowned Mr. Silky for trumpets, which concluded that there was no impact on sound quality from plating, believes that there is no change or impact on sound quality from our plating process (however, we do believe rhodium plating may cause a change).
However, we do consider that there may be an impact on the playing feel, so we are proceeding with the assumption of a thin coating. Even with a thin coating, there is almost no difference in appearance.
