YAMAHA Silent Brass Tuba

This is a YAMAHA Silent Brass for tuba.

One of the three fasteners that secure the mute and the bell is broken. (I've included a photo.)
The broken piece is in a bag, so I think it will be fine if you reattach it with adhesive, etc. I recommend a rubber-based adhesive. Since it's an area that experiences pressure, super glue will likely peel off quickly.
It can still be used normally even if not repaired, though...
(I didn't bother fixing it and just used it as is.)

I also wasn't sure what Silent Brass was supposed to sound like when I used it,
so I can't tell if the sound quality has deteriorated or if it was like this originally. However, I could hear the tuba through the earphones while using it, so I believe it's fine. I was also able to adjust the volume.

(Of course, it sounds completely different from hearing the acoustic sound!
Please don't expect it to sound the same as hearing it live. However, I think it's closer to the actual sound than playing with a mute normally. It's fun to play along with music. I highly recommend it. It has echo functions and more.)

There are no particular issues with the mute performance.
It feels like there's a slight resistance. Personally, I didn't find it bothersome.
This is probably one generation older.
I bought it used, so I don't know the specifics.

I played it in a detached house, and there were no neighborhood disputes.
Batteries are included. You can use it right away.
