MASTERING STATISTICS USING JASP ABOUT THE BOOK James MacDougall is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Eckerd College in St Petersburg, Florida. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Highlands University and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Kansas State University. Mac taught broadly both in the College's general education program and in the Psychology Department, but his primary course responsibilities in recent years were Humar Learning and Cognition, Statistics & Research Design, Evolutionary Psychology and advanced research seminars in evolutionary psychology. The Second Edition of Mastering Statistics Using JASP retains the friendly conversational style of the first edition and remains accessible to students with a limited background in mathematics. Most of the chapters have been revised to better integrate the full range of JASP statistics and figures, and Chapter 4 now provides a much more comprehensive introduction to using JASP to analyze and present research data. The Second Edition also has two new chapters on Factorial and Repeated Measures analysis of variance that include an expanded discussion of the several effect size statistics available in JASP.
