1990s Leisure Hovercraft Assorted Photos (Set of 9)

【Product Description】
This is a set of 9 original photographs of leisure hovercraft that were exhibited at the Harumi Exhibition Hall, Tokyo Boat Show, and the Museum of Maritime Science in the 1990s.

【Please Note】
The width of the photos in images 1 to 3 is shorter.
The edges of the photos are discolored brown.
Only the third photo shows a hull shape that is not a hovercraft.

These were various craft developed by companies or imported and sold by agencies as a different approach to leisure boats than personal watercraft.

Ultimately, they couldn't achieve the agile movements of personal watercraft. When they tried to promote their amphibious capabilities, they were criticized by windsurfers for scattering the wind! and by people sunbathing on the beach for kicking up sand and being a nuisance! For a while, I only saw a few people quietly enjoying them in secluded areas like snow-covered fields.

These are very niche boats, but I am listing them in the hope that they will reach those who fondly remember that era or who like personal watercraft.

● Due to the cutting process at the development factory for the negative film photos of that time, there are variations in the width of each photo.
The width of these photos is approximately 11.5cm to 12.0cm horizontally and 8.2cm vertically (amateur measurements). These are borderless photos.

● The negative films have not been found, so it is not possible to reproduce the same photos. (They have probably been disposed of.)

★ The color may vary depending on your monitor. (The actual photos have a stronger yellow tint than blue or red.)

These are negative film photos from over 35 years ago. They have been stored by an amateur, so there may be overlooked signs of age-related deterioration, scuffs, wrinkles, folds, scratches, or fading. Please judge from enlarged images, and refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such details.

【Packaging and Shipping】
We will ship via Yu-Packet Post mini. (No shipping on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.)

Packaging method:
1. Place all 9 photos together in a waterproof bag such as a Ziploc.
2. Reinforce with recycled cardboard for shipping. (See images 11-14 for packaging examples.)

We use excessive packaging, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the increase in waste. We aim for a smooth transaction with the buyer, so thank you for your understanding.
