Nikon D700 Grip Replacement Part, New

Repair part for Nikon D700, grip. Brand new, unused.
You can self-repair the grip that has become loose and stretched due to age.

Repair instructions:
1. Remove the original grip by pulling it off (warming it with a hairdryer may make it easier to remove).
2. Completely clean off any remaining adhesive (like double-sided tape) on the camera body using ethanol or similar.
3. Attach this new grip.
If adhesive remains on the body, the new grip may peel off easily, so please work carefully. Warming the remaining adhesive on the body with a hairdryer should also make it easier to remove.
The included double-sided tape is in a roll and needs to be cut to fit the grip. (This is how it was supplied to me as well.)
It's better to cut and apply small pieces according to the contours of the grip rather than applying one large piece.
After attaching the grip to the body, leave it for 1-2 days to allow it to set properly.
If you find this troublesome, you can also use a rubber-based adhesive. Nikon no longer offers maintenance for this model, so this is a DIY repair, but it will bring your grip back to life.
Since replacement parts are no longer available, this is a great option for those who are having trouble.
Attaching and detaching the grip (specifically for the D700) will not cause any issues with the camera's precision.
