The size on the garment is 28. What I've learned is that the number 28 represents the total garment length in inches (usually measured from the shoulder to the knee/hem). In US sizes, this is for a child that is 7 or 8 years old. So on the listing, I placed in it the 7 youth girls. But it would also fit a size 8.
