Description
This is a vintage Tenorhorn.
Its range is the same as a euphonium.
The mouthpiece is for a tenor trombone or a small-shank euphonium.
It is tuned in B♭.
The year and model are unknown, but it is not a new instrument.
The markings that can be read are:
・BANDMASTER
・MADE IN GDR
・What appears to be a serial number
The total length of the instrument is approximately 800mm, the bell diameter is approximately 250mm, and the weight is approximately 2.4kg (approximately 6.0kg including the case).
As it is a used item, there are scratches and paint peeling overall, but no noticeable large dents. (Please check the photos. Please let us know if there are any parts you are concerned about.)
All slide tubes that can be pulled out and inserted, such as the tuning slides, move smoothly.
The rotary valves also operate smoothly.
There are no problems that affect playing, and there are no particular issues with the playing feel.
A stand and mouthpiece are not included.
A case is included, but it is not a perfect fit, so please consider it as a bonus for shipping purposes.
