Besson Euphonium BE968-2
299.00 $
Description
This is a Besson Sovereign euphonium, model BE968, 2nd generation. It has a smaller bell, making it easy to play. It features an intonation correction system for good pitch and has no major dents.
*There is a slight dent on the tuning slide. Please refer to the photos.
There is some lifting of the silver plating at the junction of the 2nd valve slide brace and the main tuning slide. It's possible this might peel slightly in the future, but it does not affect playability.
The piston buttons have been replaced. The springs have been changed to簧 (Meade springs), improving the lightness of the action for playing fast passages.
I owned two of these, but I have fewer opportunities to perform now, so I'm considering selling this one. If you were to buy it new today, it would cost over 1 million yen. Plus, it's made in Germany. This is the real London Besson. This is a chance for those who have been searching for one.
*The handle of the case is slightly damaged. It does not affect its use, but please understand it is sold as-is.
