VINTAGE Hammered Copper & Brass Aztec Calendar Pitcher Vase

This stunning vintage pitcher is a beautiful example of Mexican artisanal metalwork. The body is crafted from hammered copper, contrasted beautifully with polished brass accents. Authentic Design: The centerpiece of the pitcher is an intricately detailed, embossed brass medallion depicting the iconic Aztec Sun Stone (sometimes referred to as the Mayan calendar). Quality Craftsmanship: Believed to be handmade in Mexico (often marked Hecho en Mexico on the base), this piece showcases traditional hand-hammered texture and robust construction. Versatile Decor: Perfect as a unique decorative piece for a bar cart, kitchen, or a centerpiece display. While likely intended for decoration, it makes a striking statement piece. This item is in vintage condition, with a rich, natural patina that highlights its age and character. There may be minor surface scratches or signs of wear consistent with its age, which only adds to its authentic charm. To maintain its shine, you can polish it gently with a commercial copper and brass cleaner, or leave the patina as is for a rustic look.
