Description
What a Truly Unique and Rare Find! These antique ornate Victorian Brass Cherub Ewer pitchers are in great condition and are likely from the 1940-1950 era. Brass ewers were primarily used as far back as the Middle Ages for pouring water, either for hand washing or for serving beverages. They often came as a pair with a basin and were used in religious ceremonies, social gatherings, and for hygiene purposes. Additionally, they were sometimes used as decorative objects or as part of ceremonial displays. Measure about 9.5 tall. Let me know if you have any questions.
