Bow Deck (and Front Deck)
This was custom-made because I wanted to install a foot-controlled trolling motor on my Portaboat along with a recessed tray and fish.
Currently, there are no places that make decks, and even a famous boat shop in Osaka only offers it as an option (66,000 yen) when purchasing a new boat from them (bringing your own boat is not allowed).
Even if you were to request it there, it's unclear if they would drill holes for the recessed tray.
In reality, since there are fewer surfaces to support it, simply cutting it might result in insufficient strength, making it potentially unsafe to use. Therefore, this deck has triangular bracing added to the underside to increase its strength.
The deck is made from a single board, following the grain of the wood, which should make it less prone to cracking.
I personally weigh about 75kg, and used it with a foot-controlled trolling motor weighing about 20kg and a twist bracket weighing about 3kg, and felt no concerns about its strength.
When moving the boat, it is recommended to avoid sudden grounding or sudden stops at full speed, and when using the engine for movement, lift the electric motor onto the deck as shown in the photos before moving.
If desired, I can provide dimensions and construction methods for the 2nd and 3rd row decks (full flat). (I will refrain from answering questions about dimensions only.)

*The deck is installed using the boat's hull to provide resistance, so the deck has never lifted due to the power of the trolling motor. However, if you are concerned, it is recommended to secure the rear of this deck to the boat's front seat with a belt or rope.
