Folk Art New Mexico Hand Carved Wood Chest ca. 1950

Here is a Spanish Colonial Style smaller Chest that was handmade out of walnut wood and for Margarite. There is a lot of work that went into this piece and was on a ledge at one of my 3 fireplaces living in Santa Fe. I actually had a lot of southwest jewelry inside this piece and it was great with the blue velvet fabric. This large wooden keepsake box becomes more than storage — it becomes part of your story. Whether it guards your jewelry, love letters, or family treasures, it does so with unmatched grace. A timeless gift, a bold décor piece, a daily joy. Dimensions Length: 17 Width: 10.25 Height: 9.5
