The gold Vermiel is applied with a process which is very detailed, long lasting, and real gold, with very specific standards. This is not gold plated. See the last picture for a definition of gold vermeil . It’s a stronger form of gold yellow gold 18 carat very thick with a sterling interior which keeps the structure better than gold alone.
