It has been powered on and has acquired satellite signals (tested only on land). A simple English manual is included. It has two modes (Classic/Extended), and the Extended mode supports Japanese. I do not know the detailed usage instructions (such as navigation methods) as I have not used it. Please no claims, no returns.
