This is a switch that is installed in the 5-inch bay of a PC case to allow the power of devices such as internal drives to be turned ON/OFF from outside the PC case. It features five toggle switches arranged horizontally, which are not linked and can be switched independently. Each switch is a standard, unremarkable toggle switch commonly found in electrical equipment.

By inserting this switch between the power supply unit's peripheral power connector (4-pin) and the device you wish to connect, meaning you connect from the power supply to this switch and then to the device, you can freely switch the power ON/OFF of the connected device from outside the case using this switch. This product is equipped with five such switches, each capable of independently switching power on and off. This allows for separate management of five power pathways.

The power consumption of the connected device is apparently up to 100W per switch.

I acquired this used from overseas over 10 years ago. I used it for about 3 years and then kept it in storage. It is in good condition with no noticeable scratches or dirt. The outer box was in poor condition when I acquired it. All accessories that were present when I acquired it are likely still included, and at least the necessary accessories for use are present.

It was functioning normally when I last used it, but I have not tested its operation for this listing. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could check it as soon as possible after purchase.

In a word, this switch is a toggle switch that physically switches whether or not power is supplied to the connected device. It forcibly switches the power ON/OFF of the 4-pin power cable, regardless of the PC's status such as the main power of the entire PC or whether the OS is running, or the operating status of the connected device. While convenient, careless use can lead to failure or malfunction of the PC or device.
