Hole in the Sky - Directed by Koji Wakamatsu, Starring Shinobu Terajima and Rinko Kikuchi (Yuriko) - VHS Edition

◆How I Acquired It
I had a habit of checking out films related to the PFF Scholarship, and since this was the 10th PFF Scholarship film, I bought it about 20 years ago. It has been stored on my home shelf.

◆Condition (See Photos)
・The case has some scratches and scuffs.
・Due to the nature of VHS and age, there is some degradation in picture quality and noise, but there are no disruptions that prevent understanding the on-screen scenes. Playback has been confirmed all the way to the end credits.

◆Content
・The synopsis is shown in the text section on the back of the jacket, so please check there.
・Although the character's name is Yuriko, this is the first starring role for Rinko Kikuchi, who was selected through an audition as a new actress. Watching it now, after she has become famous, you can see moments of raw power amidst her youthful performance, which is quite convincing.
・I usually get the impression that Rinko Kikuchi plays active and strong-willed characters, but in this film, she plays a whimsical and elusive role, which I thought was quite good... (※Personal opinion).
・Shinobu Terajima, who often gives off a tough impression, plays a shy and somewhat pathetic man.
・The setting of a rustic drive-in in Hokkaido also creates a unique atmosphere, almost like a supporting character, and the camera work that calmly follows their daily lives, along with the gentle music, makes this a memorable film.

◆Notes
・Due to its thickness, it may not fit through the mail slot of a standard home mailbox.
・Tapes are sensitive to magnetism, so please be careful if there are any magnetic flyers from utility companies in your mailbox.

◆Packaging
・It will be wrapped in a plastic bag and shipped in a kraft envelope.
