Vintage 1970s Wolff Products Owl Tissue Box Cover Burnt Orange Plastic Hinged

Picture a wood-paneled den, a macramé hanging in the corner, harvest-orange and gold everywhere you look. This is the décor that lived in those rooms — cheerful, a little kitschy, and unapologetically of its moment. The owls watched over the coffee table while the shag carpet did its thing. This is the Wolff Products Co. owl tissue box cover, made of glossy molded plastic in that perfect burnt-orange/terracotta tone, embossed on the underside “Wolff Products Co. N.Y., N.Y., U.S.A.” The scalloped slot top lifts on a hinge, and the wide-eyed yellow owls perched on flowering branches are pure 1970s — the decals are still bright and fully intact. ✦ The Details • Wolff Products Co., New York, NY, U.S.A.
