Vintage American Optical "AERIUS" Tortoise Aviator Sunglasses Ca. 1970 READ

These glasses will include a cream color Coach clamshell glasses case to protect them in shipping. The case is not original to the glasses and will be included for protection purposes.  Item is a scarce pair of vintage original American Optical Aerius Model Aviator Style Sunglasses Circa 1970. The acetate plastic frame features a very stylish classic aviator design in a brown/transparent tortoise pattern. The original AO glass lenses are smoke grey with a scratch in the right eye lens. See images. The inside of the left temple is stamped AERIUS American Optical with the AO Logo. Right arm temple is stamped with an HF, Hidden Flex.  Overall, these scarce and collectable American Optical Sunglasses are in nice vintage condition with some oxidation on the plastic, see photos, and the arms seem a little wide, stretched, see photos. These imperfections are consistent with age, use, and storage. Glasses need to be fitted to the new owner, as per usual when purchasing pre-owned glasses.  A modern generic carry/storage case will be supplied for the convenience of the buyer. Buyer pays shipping.
