Hand Created and Painted Red Clay Slovakian Woman Figurine

This is a beautiful and unique hand created and hand painted figuring of a woman thought to be made in Slovakia. The woman measures approximately 11 1/4 inches tall and she is 4 1/2“ x 3 1/2“ at the base. She is shaped in an oval. From shoulder to shoulder she is approximately 3 1/2 inches. This piece is made of red clay and hand painted. She has a lace like collar and coughs and carries a red and white rose. Her dress is traditional Slavic, including a beautiful headpiece. Her long hair is braided in the back. The details on this folk style piece are beautiful. Truly, a unique, one of a kind and rare figurine. There are no cracks or chips.
