Description
This is a vintage tie tack or lapel pin featuring a polished, dark green stone. The stone appears to be either jadeite or serpentine, with a smooth, slightly translucent quality. The piece is set in a silver-tone metal and has a chain with a bar at the end for securing it to a shirt placket or lapel. The back of the pin has a standard clutch style fastener. The stone itself measures approximately 3/8 of an inch, as shown in the photo with the measuring tape.
