20th Anniversary Pin Badge Commemorating the Completion of the Legislative Assembly Building in Canada's NWT
10.00 $
Description
I visited Yellowknife about 10 years ago and remember touring the Legislative Assembly building and buying this at the gift shop, but I've never used it since. This pin badge was apparently made in 2013 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Legislative Assembly building of Canada's NWT province, famous for the aurora borealis in Yellowknife. The pin features a design of the assembly building with its distinctive domed roof. This circular design symbolizes the region's Indigenous traditions and its unique non-partisan political style.
