This is a Japanese umbrella, red, with a janome (snake's eye) pattern.
It can be used for greeting guests at weddings, for photo shoots, or for cosplay.
It's hard to tell from the outside, but there are several tears on the inside. There is also rust on the tip of the umbrella's design, and minor scratches on the shaft, so please check the photos carefully and only purchase if you are satisfied.
It is made of something like Japanese paper, and I'm too afraid to test if it can actually be used as an umbrella, so I don't know.
The inside and the ribs of the umbrella are beautifully crafted.
