Vintage Syroco decorative Wood Wall Hangings Gold Finish Ornate Design 14"x10"

These ornate wall hangings were produced by the Syracuse Ornamental Company (Syroco) and feature their signature Hollywood Regency style with gilded floral and scrollwork designs. They were designed to mimic the appearance of hand-carved wood while being more affordable to produce. These particular pieces measure appropriately 11 x 14 and showcase a Rococo-inspired aesthetic characterized by dramatic acanthus leaf scrolls and high-relief central floral motifs. While Syroco was founded in 1890, these gold-finished floral plaques were most popular during the 1950s and 1960s. These are substantial pieces, each weighing 1 lb and 12 oz. These are in very good vintage pre-owned condition, with some ware and patina, but no chips or cracks. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.
