Holmes & Edwards XIV Silverplate Small Serving Spoon Vintage ES6

Holmes & Edwards XIV Silverplate Small Serving Spoon Vintage ES6 The XIV mark indicates this is a high-grade silver-plated piece rather than solid sterling silver. The designation means that 14 grams of pure silver were used in the plating process for a standard set. Inlaid Durability: Holmes & Edwards was famous for reinforcing wear points (like the bottom of the spoon's bowl) with solid sterling silver blocks before plating the whole piece to prevent the base metal from showing through over time. Approximately 7. Scratches, flaws, rubs, etc are to be expected with vintage and antique items. Anything more than that will be noted in the description or seen in the photos. Please use the pictures for the best description of condition and ask all questions before purchase.
