MCM Dorothy Thorpe 1960's Silver Band Glass Bowls Large & Small Chip and Dip Set

Vintage Dorothy Thorpe clear glass bowl set featuring her signature silver band design. This set includes one large bowl and one smaller bowl, commonly used together as a chip and dip set. The original metal holder that suspends the smaller bowl over the larger bowl is not included, but the bowls display beautifully on their own.  Both bowls are clear glass with silver banding on the interior and exterior, showcasing Dorothy Thorpe’s classic mid-century modern style.  Measurements: Large bowl measures approximately 10 1/2 inches in diameter at the rim and 6 inches high. Small bowl measures approximately 5 1/4 inches in diameter at the rim and 2 1/2 inches high.  Very nice vintage condition. The silver banding on both bowls is well preserved with minimal loss. There is slight wear at the rim edges, which is subtle and difficult to notice.
