Authentic vintage Geo. W. Bollman & Company Inc. eye-catching piece features a beautifully structured fedora-style crown crafted from Bollman’s signature 100% wool Doeskin Felt. This black pillbox style hat is accented with a single row of rhinestones at the very bottom edge of the hat. There's a black twill ribbon at the back of the hat and a striking full black polka dot veil. Paired with vintage Grandoe size 7 matching gloves with rhinestone edging (unknown manufacturer). Geo. W. Bollman & Company Inc (now the Bollman Hat Company) is the oldest hat maker in the United States. Originally founded by George Bollman in 1868, the historic company has spent over a century producing wool felt, straw, and knit headwear.
