Vintage Etched Brass Wall Bowls Pair Pakistan‎ Figural Decorative Plates

This striking pair of vintage etched brass bowls features richly detailed figural scenes, each hand-engraved with traditional imagery and intricate textural patterns. Marked Pakistan on the reverse, these bowls reflect the export brass craftsmanship that became especially popular in the 1970s–1980s, when ornate, globally inspired metal décor was widely produced for Western interiors. Each bowl measures approximately 9 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep, with hanging hardware already installed, making them ideal for wall display. The etched designs are highly detailed and dimensional, with warm golden tones that catch the light beautifully. Due to the depth of the engraving, the full detail is even more impressive in person. Condition is very good vintage, with minor surface wear consistent with age and display. No dents or structural damage noted. These can be displayed as a matched pair or styled separately as accent pieces in a gallery wall, boho interior, or eclectic space. Estimated decade of production: 1970s–1980s. This era favored bold, handcrafted décor with cultural motifs, often incorporating traditional techniques intended to add warmth and character to modern homes. Your home should tell the story of who you are, and be a collection of what you love. — Nate Berkus, The Things That Matter
