Large Vtg Sunshine Biscuits Tin - DC Capitol & Cherry Blossoms

This substantial vintage Fancy Assortment biscuit tin from Sunshine Biscuits features a striking mid-century lithograph of the U.S. Capitol building framed by blooming cherry blossoms and red azaleas. The large, trunk-style format and the iconic Atomic-era orange starburst interior make this a standout piece of Americana decor. Features: * Heavy Duty Construction: Features a double-walled lid and a front metal latch for a secure close (rare for these vintage tins). * Atomic Interior: The inside is decorated with a vibrant orange and white starburst/geometric pattern, adding a hidden pop of color. * Storage Ready: Large 12-inch footprint is perfect for a vintage sewing box, keepsake chest, or kitchen display. Condition: Good vintage condition with character-building wear. Includes some surface scratches, chips to the lithograph, and minor oxidation (rust) consistent with its age. The hinges and latch are fully functional and the interior pattern remains bright.
