Tiger Woods Autographed
A golf photographer friend took this famous putting scene at the PGA Championship in Chicago...
I got him to sign it in the clubhouse dining area when he visited Japan for the 2002 Dunlop Phoenix tournament, as I was involved with the players.
Tiger generally does not sign balls or cards... due to contractual issues...
I was wondering about the card too, but he signed it in a beautiful script. Actually, I got another one signed, but I gave that to the biggest Tiger Woods fan in Japan...
When a so-called sports card authenticator at the time saw it, they said they had never seen such a beautiful signature and offered to buy it for 500,000 yen, but I refused... Shikishi (colored paper) are not common in America, so I had him sign a normal, clean piece of paper a few times, but collectors say there are probably only these two cards in existence... The price may be high, but I am listing it because I want someone who will cherish it to have it.
I can guarantee this 100%... because I have known the Woods family since Tiger was in high school and worked in that capacity until 2005.
Even a few years ago when he came to Narashino for ZOZO, I had dinner and spent time with him at a hotel in Narita and received items such as the shirt he used at the time.
